Chainreaction Bikeconvoy for Ukraine: Munich – Eggenfelden – Linz

Anyone who rides over 150 kilometres a day on a bike knows that nothing works without good meals. Food, drinks and breaks are not just luxuries – they are crucial to the success of our tour.

Yesterday, we experienced this once again:

  • A great start to the day: breakfast in Eggenfelden, organised by the Rotary Clubs Eggenfelden-Pfarrkirchen and Rottal-Inn, served at Unser Wirtshaus. Many thanks for the warm hospitality!
  • Energy at the right time: at lunchtime, new energy was provided exactly when it was needed most, with muesli bars and snacks from 3Bears.
  • Recovery in the evening: In Leonding, not only a warm meal awaited us but also breakfast and accommodation, organised by the Austrian Red Cross. A big thank you for this generous support!

These stages show: Support on the route makes all the difference. Every break, every meal is a valuable contribution to Chainreaction’s mission for the people of Ukraine.

Homes, schools, and hospitals become military targets, and firefighters work tirelessly to deal with the destruction, saving as many lives as possible. This work is already dangerous – under war conditions, however, it becomes life-threatening, as destroyed sites are often attacked…
