2 years of Russian full-scale invasion

Yesterday, hundreds of people in Bamberg, Nuremberg and Munich sent a powerful message of solidarity and peace. We gathered on the streets to commemorate the second anniversary of the full-scale war in Ukraine – a war that affects us all deeply and brings us together.

A big thank you to every one of you who took part in the demonstrations yesterday. Your presence is valuable and conveys a powerful message of support and unity. It is this unity that makes us stronger and gives us hope.

We want to express our deepest gratitude to Germany and those who support Ukrainians here. The support and solidarity Ukraine has received since the beginning of the war is unprecedented. Germany has shown that bridges can be built and lives saved in need.

A free and sovereign Ukraine is key for peace in Europe. Our struggle for liberty is not just our own; it’s a battle for democratic principles and the security we cherish.

As we reflect on the events of the past two years, we remember the strength and courage of the Ukrainian people. Together we are strong. Together we fight for peace. Слава Україні!
