Because your commitment saves lives!

Dear people,

We are pleased to announce a campaign, sadly necessary but with tremendous success due to help from friends and colleagues. It is the Hand-in-Hand Culture.Convoy for Ukraine. At first it was just a bold idea, but now it is taking to the road. A convoy of aid vehicles has been donated by the music and culture industry.
Ukraine requires various types of aid to defend itself against Russia in this full-scale war. We have set a goal to work with Bamberg:UA e.V. to provide ambulances, hospital buses, and other aid vehicles to Lviv. From there, the urgently needed vehicles are brought to specific locations to save lives. Even if we have now sadly become used to the horrifying images from Ukraine, we must not forget that the suffering of Ukrainians is great and they continue to fight incredibly bravely and sacrifice for democracy in Europe.

We believe that it is important for all of us to provide more support to them. We are extremely pleased by the incredible willingness to assist. The convoy now includes six ambulances, a Unimog, a hospital bus with 10 beds and other medical supplies. The vehicles were purchased using donations from various artists and bands and were provided transport through the organizational and bureaucratic expertise of Bamberg:UA e.V. This convoy will travel to Lviv on February 28th to be transferred to Ukrainian operational commanders. Sometimes, artists are the ones driving the vehicle themselves!

    Two Fire Trucks for Ukraine

Every night, Ukrainian cities and villages come under attack from Russian drones and rockets. Homes, schools, and hospitals become military targets, and firefighters work tirelessly to deal with the destruction, saving as many lives as possible. This work is already dangerous – under war conditions, however, it becomes life-threatening, as destroyed sites are often attacked…
