In just a few days, on February 24, Ukraine will enter its third year of war, and rallies and demonstrations will be held around the world to send a strong signal of solidarity with the people of Ukraine. Today, Ukraine is the most heavily mined country in the world, and it is high time to stand up against Russia’s war of aggression, which violates international law.
We, the German-Ukrainian organizations and Ukrainian civil societies in the Bamberg region, will also participate in this global campaign. Together, we are committed to ensuring that Ukraine receives the means to fend off the aggressor and restore its territorial integrity. Stop Russia’s aggression! It is time to put an end to this war. Russia must bear the consequences of its irresponsible actions.
Military aggression must not have any chance of success – NEVER AGAIN! This applies in particular to Russian aggression against Ukraine and Europe. There cannot be a free Europe without a free Ukraine!
