Saturday school for Ukrainian children

Welcome to the Bamberg Saturday School. We started out in 2018 so that children could practice and improve the Ukrainian language and get acquainted with Ukrainian customs while having fun with the group. In cooperation with the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Parish of St. Nicholas, we organized a variety of leisure activities for students, welcomed St. Nicholas , sang Christmas carols, taught poetry, read Ukrainian fairy tales, painted masterpieces, played games, and played other interesting things.

If you Want your Child to Attend our Saturday School

Children have the right to share their thoughts and experiences within a familiar language environment among their peers and adults. If your child wants to find friends with whom they can both play and learn something new, please fill out our form.

If you would like to Teach at our Saturday School

Given that the number of Ukrainians in Bamberg and its environs is growing every day, we hope that there will be more people willing to come to us. Therefore, we are already looking for teachers and educators to reinforce our team. If you do not have pedagogical education, but still wish to join our team – you are cordially welcome 😊.
We keep an open mind regarding the matters of organization of lessons, formation of classes and schedules. We believe that together we will create a Saturday school that our students will be happy to attend. If you would like to join our team of teachers, please fill out this form.
